The objective of this Topic Area is to seek advances in and validation of modeling tools that account for sound and overpressure propagation in environmental analysis and to collect measurements validating sonic (or subsonic) effects on targets in the natural or built environment.

Munitions Response – DoD-Only Topics

The objective of this Topic Area is to demonstrate and validate unexploded ordnance (UXO) Detection, Classification, and Localization (DCL) systems; UXO burial and mobility models; and methods to remediate military munitions at underwater controlled and live sites, to reduce the DoD’s liabilities under the Military Munitions Response Program.
