NE-AIPG Training: Contaminated Fractured Rock Hydrogeology and Geophysics
Ewing/Trenton, New Jersey
Sponsored by the Northeast Section of the American Institute of Professional Geologists (NE-AIPG), this course offers a unique insight into the use and practical application of geophysical techniques in evaluating and remediating DNAPL in fractured bedrock groundwater flow systems. The morning session at The College of New Jersey will provide background on the theory and use of geophysical techniques in fracture flow systems. The afternoon session, at the former Naval Air Warfare Center, will include a site tour and demonstrations on the use of geophysics in tracking and evaluating DNAPL. Participants must attend both sessions to receive continuing education credit. For details or to register, visit http://ne-aipg.org/meetinginfo.php.
