Interior Alaska DoD Training Land Wildlife Habitat Vulnerability to Permafrost Thaw, an Altered Fire Regime, and Hydrologic Change, RC18-1170, Thomas Douglas

Each year, the SERDP and ESTCP Symposium brings together environmental and energy researchers and technology developers with the defense end-user and regulatory communities to showcase cutting edge environmental technologies and ideas. At the 2021 virtual Symposium, attendees will have the opportunity to attend several sessions focused on Resource Conservation and Resiliency research initiatives, covering topics related to improving Department of Defense (DoD) installation resilience and natural resource management. Below are brief summaries of each session offered for this research area at the Symposium.

Tuesday, November 30, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (ET)

Many DoD landscapes are unique and increasingly rare habitats in the United States. This technical session will feature SERDP and ESTCP research focused on DoD managed ecosystems, threatened and endangered species, and the control of invasive species.
