Hard chromium and cadmium coatings have been used extensively to provide corrosion protection for military platforms and components. Repair technologies usually involve electrochemical plating and employ hazardous and toxic chemicals. In this technical session we will explore alternative technologies that will reduce the use and exposure to these materials while maintaining performance.
