Decision-Making Framework for the in situ Toxicity Identification Evaluation System (iTIES)

The Decision-Making Framework describes five tiered steps to evaluate whether the in situ Toxicity Identification Evaluation System (iTIE) technology is suitable for particular remediation, recovery, or site status projects. The iTIES technology is best suited for use in higher tiered assessments, rather than Tier 1 surveys, and its primary purpose is to determine which class of chemicals is primarily responsible for site toxicity.
